Well, I'm certainly surprised

Looks as though I'll be putting the moving vans on hold, at least until this mistake is cleared up. You know how bureaucracies are, and the Vatican one is especially thorny. And it'll probably take a while to get this Benedict character out of my apartments, too. These false popes are like glue; once they come in, it can take forever to get rid of them. I'll keep you posted. Until then, I must proclaim that mine is a Papacy In Exile.

But let's make one thing perfectly clear: I am not an antipope. He's the antipope.

My Papal Thoughts

Well, here I am on this new "blog" thing. I'm probably the first Pope ever to post to a weblog, and i think that's a good thing, as it's just one more way that the Church can reach out to the faithful and those who have not yet received the Good Word.

In the upcoming days, I'll be posting about my imminent move to the Vatican, and my thoughts about the changes I'll be making to the Church.
